Tribute to Ross Kirby Willard
October 24, 1950 – May 8, 2026
Ross Willard, beloved husband of Ruth Willard and a faithful servant of the Lord, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the age of 75. His passing was sudden and unexpected, yet his life was marked by steadfast faith, humility, generosity, and a deep love for people.
Ross faithfully stood alongside Ruth and the ministry for many years, touching countless lives through his encouragement, wisdom, kindness, and servant’s heart. He was also the founder of Recycle Bicycles, a ministry and community outreach that was especially close to his heart. Through this work, Ross recycled and restored thousands of bicycles and freely gave them to children, families, and individuals throughout the community who were in need. His passion was not simply repairing bicycles, but blessing people and sharing the love of Christ through practical acts of kindness and compassion.
Though Ross will be deeply missed by family, friends, and all who knew him, we rejoice in the assurance that he is now in the presence of the Lord he faithfully served.
“We do not grieve as those who have no hope.” — 1 Thessalonians 4:13
